If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids this Halloween midterm, CreepyTown at The Helix in Dublin is well worth considering! 
We recently headed along to see what all the spooky fun was about, and the kids really enjoyed it. One of the real highlights for us was the lead character. He had such a lovely way of connecting with the audience, drawing the kids in and making them feel part of the show rather than just sitting watching from their seats. The boys really loved him, and his energy and interaction added so much to the experience. It’s often those little moments that make a family show memorable, and he was definitely a favourite with our crew
Another big plus was the running time. At around an hour, it felt just right for a family show, long enough to enjoy the story, songs and Halloween magic, without being too long for younger audience members. The showtime was also ideal for fitting into a family day out, leaving plenty of time to grab lunch or make other plans afterwards. I love the Helix generally as the parking situation is good!
CreepyTown brings a Halloween twist to family theatre, with plenty of laughs, lively performances and spooky fun without being overly scary. It’s a lovely option if you want to do something seasonal with the family that’s a little different from the usual pumpkin picking or Halloween trails.
I asked my youngest for his views ” I thought that i was really funny and enjoyable, I loved the main character and i love the final dance with everybody at the end, cant wait for the Christmas panto.
